Wednesday, July 16: Traditional Grand Game: Beret Throwing

The first day of the 2025 Madeleine Festival is already a challenge that smells of the Southwest! Meet at 11 a.m. in the gardens of the Hôtel Le Renaissance for the Beret Throw – a free event open to all, children and adults alike. The idea? Grab your beret, aim at the giant target set up near the terrace, and propel your hat as far as possible… to the cheers of a live band.

Thursday, July 17 – Live session with Rose Culotte

Thursday evening, we dim the lights on the terrace and turn up the volume: the Bordeaux duo Rose Culotte (Guillaume on drums-percussion & Robin on vocals-keyboard) delivers his cocktail electro-pop ultra-danceable. Specialists in French and English covers revisited in electro-acoustic versions. The result: an energetic show where each cover retains its identity while gaining a modern touch that gets people raising glasses and filling the dance floor.

Friday, July 18 – “Noche Latina” evening with Kamino

On Friday, the Renaissance rocks its terrace to the gypsy-Latino rhythms of Kamino trioBorn in Mont-de-Marsan, these three enthusiasts (flamenco guitar-vocals, rock bass and percussionist with classical roots) already have a total of 600 services since 2015 and travel to weddings, festivals and ferias in the South West; it goes without saying that they know how to transform any spot into a dance floor.

Saturday, July 19 – Cherry on the Cake live: 6 doses of pop-rock to boost your feria

On Saturday, the Renaissance goes into mode Rock School ! The Mons sextet Cherry on the Cake – trained at the Rock School of CaféMusic' – sets up his amps on the terrace for a show pop-rock cover as eclectic as it is festive. On the program: 70s folk nods, 80s rock riffs and revisited 2020 hits, all sprinkled with flagship covers – fromAmy Winehouse has Lenny Kravitz, without forgetting a detour via Emilie Simon to keep the French touch.

Sunday, July 20 – Closing in gipsy-sevillanas style with Peña la Estrella & Tékéma

For the last day of the Madeleine Festival 2025, the Renaissance puts Andalusia in the spotlight! The local troupe Star Rock takes over the terrace for a demonstration of sevillanas: created in 1998 within the Étoile Sportive Montoise, the association promotes Spanish folk dancing throughout the department and introduces young and old to its playful steps.
